Talk Talk performed this song live in concert in 1984. In this live version it was done in a key lower to the original version. No Doubt also sing it but in a key higher to the original version. I am playing along to the live version of the song. I have the piano in parts, the keyboard in parts, and my new portable digital piano in parts also. Ah never seen anyone switch between keyboards or pianos in a song before, have you! In a part of the song later there is just drums and bongos so I filled it with the piano. This didn’t take that much pratice to do.

Telstar – The Tornados – Composed and Produced by Joe Meek in 1962. Recorded in this music video by Miss Denise Hewitt on Technics SX-PR903 Digital Piano in Digital Synthesiser Mode. Sometimes the Musical Group is referred to in the States as the Tornadoes, although the correct spelling is Tornados, with full details in Wikipedia:) The photo in the titles and credits is courtesy of the awesome NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope!
