Where can i get a mini keyboard piano?

Posted in Electric Piano on November 12th, 2010 by Andrew – 3 Comments

I was looking for a small keyboard, maybe just a couple of octaves, that i could take with me on holiday, since i’m gonna be away for a while and would like to be able to play the piano. i was wondering if these exist? i’ve found roll-up ones on eBay, such as: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Flexible-Roll-Up-Electronic-Keyboard-Piano-Organ-/330466756582?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Keyboard_RL&hash=item4cf15a87e6
but i’m pretty certain that would be horrible to play. does anyone know where i could get just a small keyboard, or send me a link? cheers.

I have a Baldwin upright and a Yamaha, but when I play it it just feels like the Baldwin has a smaller keyboard, and I’m talking about real piano’s, with 81 notes keyboard not the electronic keyboard.

How long did it take you to get good at playing piano?

I like classical music, I want to be able to play some of my favorite dongs. I took piano lessons for like a month when I was a kid … I’m pretty good at teaching myself things. I want to leanr using my electronic keyboard and google video/youtube.

How long did it take you before you could play decent? I don’t expect to be able to play Winter Wind any time soon … but I want to play something better than Twinkle Twinkle … and improve my left right coordination … etc … and just be decent.

is a synthesizer/digital piano a good substitute?

i played the piano when i was little for about 4 years, and then when i moved to the USA, i stopped playing, now it’s been like 7 years and i want to start playing again.

i’m wondering if a keyboard is a ok substitute for a piano since a piano costs a lot more and is a lot harder to maintain.

if possible can you put the pros and cons of using a electronic keyboard instead of a piano (for practice)

Also, if you have specific recommendations of the model and brand of the keyboard that would be helpful too.
