Across The Stars Star Wars Love Theme on Casio Digital Piano Improved Audio Quality!

Posted in digital piano on May 26th, 2011 by Andrew – 25 Comments

I learnt this piece in just over a week, its the Anakin and Padme love theme from Attack of the Clones, called Across The Stars, i think it is a lovely piece. Several comments on other videos said my audio quality wasnt too good, thats because i used a digital camera and didnt record the audio seperately. From now on, my audio will be the quality it is now. I recorded the video onto my laptop, whilst recording the audio onto my casio keyboard. Then, i transferred the audio onto an SD card and changed the VST instrument from the default midi sound (which isnt a good piano sound) into a better one, and then synced the video and audio together in windows movie maker.

Halloween Theme Song

Posted in Electronic Keyboard Piano on March 16th, 2011 by Andrew – 25 Comments

This is the Halloween Theme song performed on a Yamaha YDP-121 Electronic Keyboard. It is first played on the Grand Piano, Then Electric Piano, and then Pipe Organ.Yes I know I played the song a little too fast, but my camera was low on space so I had to quickly rush through it. I started to mess up near the end on the Organ, that’s because my hands were getting tired, sorry about that. Vote for which instrument that sounds better.

Aerith’s Theme (??????????? Final Fantasy VII) Electone /Piano /Keyboard

Posted in Yamaha Piano Keyboard on March 8th, 2011 by Andrew – 17 Comments

In loving memory of my dear friend, Reuben Kee, one of my biggest inspiration in life and the best FF remixer i know of. reubenkee.com http Life List #88: Get a STAGEA Electone lifelistling.com On 4th July 2009, my Yamaha STAGEA Mini finally arrived at my doorstep. It was one of the happiest moment of my life even though my bank account dipped dangerously low (cost me SGD00). With no piano background and no scores, i learn to play the electone by ear and by watching Youtube videos. I didn’t want to attend any lessons as i think i can learn better by myself by playing my favorite tunes and at my own pace. This is my very first piano piece. Aerith’s theme somehow always reminds me of my friend, Reuben. I wish i had learn music years ago, it would have been so awesome to play some FF songs with him. This theme will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope he can hear this wherever he may be. I learn this theme by watching youtube videos and listening on my mp3. Took longer than i expected as I’ve been busy with many other things for the past 3 months and also had a wrist injury to recover from. Finally have the time and borrowed a laptop to record this… It’s definitely a complicated song for a beginner, and almost impossible to perfect in just one take. Managed to played through the whole theme with serveral mistakes and it’s very obvious if a certain note of a chord is wrong as this is such a delicate theme, any wrong note can be heard quite clearly. Played many
